The key people behind Pharmaceutical Compounding NZ Ltd
Mike Cushman MPS, AACNEM - Company Director
Mike Cushman is a pharmacist who owned and ran a community pharmacy for 17 years, and at the same time, directed a medical centre which treated patients with chronic disease. With travel of over twenty five years to international medical conferences and medical centres, the potential was seen for new ways of delivering pharmaceutical and nutraceutical healthcare. Mike started Natural Health Laboratories Ltd (NHL) in 1997 and developed the Clinicians range into one of the top nutraceutical ranges on the NZ market. NHL and the Clinicians brand was sold to Douglas Pharmaceuticals in 2008.

, Sahar has striven to further her expertise in the areas of medicine and practice she has pursued. Following her graduation, Sahar worked as a registrar for three years. She then worked in the school health sector as a committed medical doctor for 10 years. Following on from her work in the
Middle East
, and with a strong passion for Holistic medicine, Sahar joined the PCNZ technical support team in July 2007. Sahar has attended numerous conferences and seminars (locally & abroad) focusing on Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, as well as nutritional medicine and complimentary medicine. Sahar has grown a genuine compassion for helping women who suffer from common issues such as fatigue, depression, perimenopause, post menopause and thyroid dysfunction. Sahar also advises for and helps manage PCNZ Diagnostic (a branch of PCNZ) which offers a variety of test kits. Many of these kits test for markers that are related to conditions that are not covered by the standard Ministry of health labs.
Our Dedicated team of Pharmacists - Chieh Ho and Judith Hung are experienced professionals who head up our pharmacy departments in the dispensary and compounding rooms. Anne Yee, Juliet Bayne and Kristen Zhao help complete the team of Pharmacists that make the PCNZ compounding operation a success.
Dr Janelle Sinclair BSc, MSc (Hons), PhD (Biochemistry), AACNEM - Independent Technical Consultant
Janelle obtained her PhD in Biochemistry, from the University of Basel, Switzerland, in which she researched Type 2 diabetes and other amyloid-related diseases. She has presented and published her findings at multiple conferences and in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Janelle has completed multiple training programmes in the area of nutritional and environmental medicine and is studying towards a Fellowship in Anti-Ageing and Functional Medicine. Since 2005 Janelle has worked for NHL and PCNZ as a technical consultant and scientific writer. In addition, Janelle has lectured nationally and internationally in the area of natural hormones and anti-ageing medicine.
